Tickets for Nottingham’s Splendour Festival have been sold at a record-breaking pace, with several hundred tickets a day being bought daily. It’s not really a surprise that over 20,000 have been snapped up already – double Brit-Award winners, Kaiser Chiefs, are headlining.
“Splendour has become a firm favourite with the thousands of people who return each year,” said George Akins of DHP Family. “It’s a great way to kick off the summer holidays and we’re working hard behind the scenes to make sure this year’s is better than ever. Don’t delay to get a ticket, this will be one not to miss!”
The event is on its way to selling out within the next few days, and with only a week to go, it could very well end up turning into a repeat of last year when chart sensation Jess Glynne headlined.
“It’s fantastic that the festival is proving as popular as ever, with over 50 percent of ticket holders taking advantage of the discounted admission price for Nottingham City residents,” said Nottingham City Council Cllr, David Trimble. “To take advantage of this offer, all Nottingham residents need is a city card number or their postcode and proof of residency.”
Grab tickets here! Children under 11 go free, whilst Nottingham residents can grab a discount (a standard ticket is £46, so it’ll be £36 instead). Tickets for people aged 11-17 in Nottingham City can grab a ticket for £20.
