Our New Favourite Product: Sudocrem

Sudocrem

We have raved about Sudocrem in an earlier post, but felt like we needed to go into more detail about their latest beauty product and must-have, Sudocrem Skin Care Cream, which even the bloggers are shouting about. Let us tell you why…

A lot of you will know Sudocrem as a nappy rash cream, but their little pot of miracles also works on eczema, acne, small rashes, etc. Now there is the tube of awesomeness (yes, we went there!) which is perfect for your beauty (or man) bag. The ingredients list is slightly different from the pot of Sudocrem, and is becoming a staple in beauty and cleansing routines across the globe.

It has a thick white texture, but don’t let that put you off! A little of this stuff goes a very long way, because only a thin layer is needed. Here are just a few things this Sudocrem has been used for:

As a nighttime face mask. Some people say they have glowing skin the next day when they apply a thin layer of sudocrem as a face mask before they go to bed and leave it on overnight. This is also a great way to treat acne, and it doesn’t clog the pores as you might imagine. I know, because I’ve used it! It sounds messy, so probably don’t do this if your partner is staying over! Also, remember to wash off in the morning.

A primer before make-up. I can see why people do this. When you apply a thin layer it creates a protective base for the skin, and gives you a wonderful clear glow. It smooths out the skin’s texture and helps to get rid of any dry skin.

To treat individual spots. Use a thin layer (though thick does work!) on individual spots, or when you feel a spot is about to erupt. It doesn’t mean your spots will disappear overnight, and it may bring one out quickly (booooo) but it does get rid of spots faster.

Remember, everybody has different skin, so what works for others may not work for you. Try it and see what happens… We are totally in love with Sudocrem! Find out more right here.
