“The shoot was a lot of fun! Chris and I had been meaning to shoot together for some time, so when this opportunity came up it was kinda perfect timing. What better way to collaborate for the first time then for VanityHype magazine. Better yet, the cover shot! I’m stoked about that.

“I was a little nervous to begin with, as I’d never met the boys and as you can tell by the shoot, there wasn’t much clothing involved. Not to mention it’s winter over here and I’m just casually standing there in underwear eating ice-cream, ha ha. But it didn’t take long for the nerves to fade away and the fun to start. “Chris is a super talented guy, he’s what we call a triple threat. With hairdressing, make-up and photography under his belt, whatever you need, he’s got you covered. With help from his partner, Pasquale, with styling and assisting on the shoot we were able to create some pretty cool images. Being just the 3 of us made it a lot easier to work as a team – there wasn’t this big cast and crew working on top of one another shouting ideas through the studio. We all knew what we were there for and all had the same vision, had some fun with it and just made it work. The guys were so relaxed and chilled which made it a more comfortable atmosphere. And now I have these kickass photos to show for it. Thanks Chris and Pasquale!

“I wouldn’t even know what to call my style to be honest, a little bit of everything I suppose. I kinda do my own thing, I don’t really follow a particular fashion styles or trends. If I like the look of it I’ll wear it, regardless of style. I do like things with bright colours and random patterns, any thing that looks unique and quirky. I try to wear things I haven’t seen before or one-off pieces so everyone else isn’t wearing the same thing. Who cares if no one else agrees on your style/outfit. If you can wear something and pull it off nicely, then you might just be starting your own trend without knowing.”
