“There are a number of factors that would contribute to my dream photo shoot. Location would be important. I think a tropical shoot in the Caribbean would be amazing. You also need to have great energy on set. Playing some old school hip hop would get me hyped up and in the zone. Chemistry is probably the most important factor. When the models, photographers, PAs and MUAs all click – something special results.
“Nathan has been nothing short of fantastic. He was the first photographer that I ever shot with, and we always have a great time on set. His vision and attention to detail has definitely taught me a lot, and the results speak for themselves!
“The simple answer is that people have always suggested [modelling] to me as a way of taking advantage of my gifts. I have a good friend who gave me the final push I needed and connected me with Nathan. From there it’s become so much more. For me, it’s a way to express myself and to inspire others. It’s all about connecting the shot with the right emotion. Sometimes we want to be seductive, other times we aim to motivate. A picture becomes something great when it captures and expresses that idea and it resonates with an audience.
“I don’t want to have delusions of grandeur, as I like to keep myself somewhat humble. That being said, I would love to see how far this can go. I look up to people like David Gandy, Tyson Beckford, and Derek Zoolander. I’m going to keep working at
it and we’ll see what the future has in store!
“I would love to travel across Europe. Start off in Ireland to pay homage to my ancestors, hop over to London to catch a match at Stamford Bridge, then continue off across Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and I would love to check out Prague as well!”
