Review: The Saturdays ‘Greatest Hits Live’ Tour

At Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall

The Saturdays are generally busy ladies! With the likes of Rochelle presenting This Morning occasionally along with hubby (and ex-JLS member) Marvin, and Frankie taking part in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, you wonder when they actually had/have the time to rehearse or take part in a full UK tour!

Despite the fact that this Greatest Hits tour isn’t one celebrating 20 years of being in a pop group together (it’s been 6 years they gushed on stage), it was still a fun show full of favourite songs. The venue was packed, and everyone seemed to leave happy.

It wasn’t full of show gimmicks and confetti (surprisingly there wasn’t any!), and instead they chose to focus on a general theme – basically being that there is a The Saturdays plane and it has landed…. music to be played, hot male dancers (sometimes topless or in uniform – think pilots and fire men!), great outfits and dance routines.

They opened the evening with their latest track, ‘What Are You waiting For?’, and played other favourites such as ‘What About Us’, ‘Gentleman’, ‘Forever Is Over‘, ‘Notorious’ and plenty more.

There isn’t much to shout about, but for any The Saturdays fans out there, it’ll satisfy your ears (and eyes!)
