elyar fox loresWith over 158,000 Twitter followers, over 500,000 Facebook likes and a top 5 debut single already under his belt, Elyar Fox is one to watch this year. In fact, dont miss him as he supports The Wanted along with The Vamps this spring.

How were the Brits last night?
The Brits were really cool. I only managed to make the after party but yeah, it was really good. From what I caught of it it seems like everyone got what they deserved.

Was there anyone there at the after party who made you a bit star struck? Yeah, Pharrell was there, Rita Ora, the 1D boys – it was fun.

Your new song a ‘Billion Girls’ got its first radio play today. Can you tell us about the idea behind the track? You might hear the title and think it’s about being a bit of a player, but it’s not. It’s about reassuring the girl, giving her a bit more self confidence, and letting her know that yeah, there are a billion girls in the world, but don’t forget there’s only one you. It’s about making the girl feel good.

We’ve heard you’re supporting The Wanted on their tour with The Vamps. Are you excited to be part of their final tour? Oh yeah, I’m so excited, it’s going to be wicked. I’m really looking forward to the tour. It’s the biggest tour I’ve done as well.

Have you done any arena tours before or will this be your first time? I just came off the Union J tour which was my first ever, and that was really cool, but I think this one’s going to be even bigger. I’m buzzing.

We actually saw you on the Union J tour and we noticed already you’ve got quite a big fan base. Are you pleased with the support you’re getting? Are you surprised at how quickly you’ve grown? I am really surprised actually and obviously it feels great, man. It feels really great to know that I have fans that are supporting me and liking my music. I feel like the least I can do is give back with my music.

So is having a good fan base really important for you?
Yeah definitely. Where would you be without it, you know?
