Dizzee Rascal has announced that his new single ‘Scream’ featuring the new Dirtee Skank signing Katie Pepper, will be the official 2012 London Olympics song which is released on August 5th. You can pre- order it here. His single ‘Scream’ will be one of the official songs for the sports presentation programme of the London 2012 Olympic games, along with some of the UK’s biggest acts such as Muse, Chemical Brothers, Delphic and Elton John/ Pnau. They will also be a part of the newly announced Rock the Games music programme.
If you haven’t got Sky then you might not actually know who Pepper is. Dizzee was a judge on Sky 1′s talent show Must Be The Music which is different from the rest, because the singer’s have to perform their own music. After she appeared on the show he signed her up! She has been touring with Dizzee and has a big summer a head of her playing alongside the likes of Dizzee, Olly Murs, Plan B and Rizzle Kicks.
