
With an average age of 18, Young Kato have already caused a big stir amongst the music scene and have played to 7,000 plus fans in Bristol late last year in support slots creating a growing fan base for the pop six piece. “We are pop and we’re not afraid to say that,” says frontman Tommy Wright who is only 19 years old. “People describe us as having an Eighties’ influence, with our synth and guitar combination with big pop chords.”
They have just signed to Manchester based influential label LAB Records where they are getting ready to released their ‘Young Kato EP’ on 26th August. You can also catch them at these shows across the UK, dates below:
